I checked their site, they only send to Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Rumor is going around that a first batch of white Winds has been send to distributors in Netherlands today. This batch is limited though and is only for people who pre ordered a while ago.

Since I've pre ordered two, I might have one spare :)

I think the performance wont turn anyone off as the main feature of SSD isnt "more speed" its based on the fact that if you drop it it wont shift the plates and screw you over

I guess it's different for everyone, I was interested in SSD for speed and battery life. I have never dropped my laptop and don't see that happening.

I've read that SSDs will make just as much if not more heat than and HDD. I think its been mentioned before on one of the reviews on this forum. Whoever did the review thought it was very weird that SSD would get as hot as it did since they're always advertised as not generating any heat.

For me it will be the heat and battery life, and the no movable parts. performance is secondary.

Well if MSI would actually deliver any of their Winds to Holland I might. They still have not delivered any here.

But since it took MSI so long I've canceled my pre-orders long time ago. I'll wait to see what Dell E brings and what else happens with all the new models coming uo before I make a new buying decision.

I see... well that is a smart move. :) But after reading the first sentence there you had me all excited that you would actually send me one. >.< LOL

Smart decision. I am also looking at the Aspire One and the Dell E. Thinkpad X200 is an alternative.

I think present generation of SSD does not offer any real advantage. In future, the SSD drives will run a lot faster, bigger and consume less battery and hopefully cheaper than HDD.
