I was wondering if anyone knows if the MSI Wind has 6 cell batteries out in the US for purchase. I don't mean the whole computer, just the battery.
I have already ordered a 3 cell and after thinking about it for a while I think that I might want a 6 cell so do you know of a place that I could buy one in the US?
Any links or info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The lack of a 6cell battery has turned a few people away from the Wind. I was going to get one and was waiting and waiting for the units and found the 3 cell for $499 I almost got it (I actually did but then later canceled my order) but I am glad I did not just a few weeks later Asus had now dropped the 1000H which is nearly identical to the Wind with 6 cell included to $450
Odd right shift key and smaller hdd (80 vs 120) are the only real cons.
However Pros:
The 1000H has wireless N (not a big deal to me I use G)
It has a auto overclock for the cpu, and supposedly a higher clocked integrated graphics core wich really helps with video playback.
Within a month the 160gb 1000H will be out for $480 so still beats the Wind in price but then beats it in HDD space.
There may be some price wars come soon where the Wind drops to match the Asus, but for now the Asus is on top in my opinion.
The Acer Aspire One is a close follower, its only $399 with 6cell but also 9" screen and no bluetooth and lower build quality. -
They are now available (at least for Pre-Orders) from our site. Mugen Power is developing a 9-cell battery for the Wind, but it won't be available for at least 6 more weeks. Once it is available, we'll be offering it from our web site. In the meantime, we are offering the Original MSI OEM 6-cell battery as a temporary measure for those who can't wait for the 9-cell (7800mAh) Mugen Power version.
The White 6-cell can be seen here: http://www.lionbattery.com/description.php?noproduit=1627
and the Black 6-cell can be seen here: http://www.lionbattery.com/description.php?noproduit=1626
We do not have the Pink or Silver yet. (We're working on those.)
If you want to be kept informed as to the progress of the 9-cell battery that Mugen Power is developing, then please send us an email and we'll add you to the waiting list. As more news about the 9-cell becomes available (including firm pricing and specifications) if you're on the mailing list, you'll be among the first to know.

I just pulled the trigger on 2 1000H Units for $430 with the 6 cell thats hard to beat since its almost identical to the Wind in every way.
BTW the white battery link says price $0 doesn't that mean in theory somebody can pre-order and force you to keep the price as advertised
edit: nvm after reloading the page the price was there, strange it said $0 first time I should have taken a screen shot -
Wow.. that 9cell for the wind is nice (any coming out for Asus?).. I think I'll hang back and see if there are any other sub-notebook surprises coming out...

There area handful of super high capacity batteries for the Asus too, but expensive and hard to get I would assume.

Wind with 6 cell is on sale for $430 after MIR & Live cash on zipzoomfly.com

There's a pretty big difference between Wind and 1000h. Wind is about 0.6 pound lighter... that's kind of significant. Also better keyboard.
