thanks a lot, is that for your MSI GT72-6QD ?! i bet you dont really need to activate the cooler boost at 150%, my laptop is the stealth gs75, it gets really hot...

    thanks again,

Yes that is on my GT72-6QD, i don't activate Cooler Boost unless i am overclocking and Benching the GPU.

As for your GS75 if its a 8th/9th gen one you can undervolt the CPU to cool it down abit, however if its a 10th Gen, not sure if Undervolting has been disabled due to plundervolt.

yes ur right undervolting is pretty much disabled ! do u ever see temps reaching 99-100c for split second or that should NEVER be the case ?! am i did a bunch of benchmarks and the maximum temps can always reach 99-100c, but not sustained ! am not sure if its a garbage thermal job done by my laptop builder or am just too new to gaming laptops and its something normal !...

I have an i7 6700hq i am lucky to see this hit 75c at full tilt with that fan profile. As for 10th gen as i have seen, many laptops are like this spiking to 99c - 100c and then settling down, so it seems to be normal.

Its your AVG temp really you should be worried about not the spikes.
