Very similar to the GE series of machines but with an awesome wide gamut display and more subdued styling.

It is more stylish with some premium features.
PX is prestige series for casual gamers that prefer professional/elite look.

What about battery life? I noticed in my local store it's only $300 less for having GTX 950M instead of GS60's 970M, which also has these premium features (ie. True Colour & Nahimic) installed. Judging from the GPU performance alone, the GS60 seems to be a much better purchase.

But I understand laws of physics apply; despite of being a great light-weighted gaming notebook, GS60 suffers from short battery life and thermal/sound problems. For me, I don't need an excellent GPU for the types of games I usually play (they are already playable on an integrated 17" notebook), so if I could benefit significantly from battery life/temperature/sound, the GTX 950M might be more suitable for me.

Now that ASUS UX501 is back in stock, I'm also considering this model if it really fixed the tint yellow problem (I really like this notebook's appearance), which is the main reason holding me back from purchasing this notebook. How does PX60 fair against UX501? notebookcheck.net did a review on PE60 but hasn't on PX60, and based on the reviews, PE60 seems to have scored higher than UX501 besides app performance and camera quality. So I can have some opinion on this as well.

    Suggestions/advices are appreciated.

    Answering my own question.

"The battery blows, it last a little over 2 hours while surfing the web. Turning brightness down helps a bit." - source

If it only lasts a little 2 hours, then there's no reason to choose 950M over 970M and the GS60 with 5th gen processor would seem like a much better purchase. But its design especially the logo is really inappropriate for me to bring it to the office. Tough decision!
