    Hi,

Does anybody know how to make a MSI MS-1722 WOL?
I have tried it via standby and hibernation i think. Those worked.
But from a completely off state didn't work :(
Any ideas or pointers to what can be done?

    Hello Stabby888-

If you don't see the WakeOn-type options in your BIOS, usually somewhere in Power Management. If this is possible, it would be in your BIOS settings.

    Cheers

Went around looking what my settings were set at and found this for the properties of the NIC in device manager:

    Auto disable gigabit: disabled
    Flow control: enabled
    Green ethernet: disabled
    Interrupt moderation: enabled
IPv4 checksum offload: Rx & Tx enabled
    Jumbo frame: diabled
    Large send offload(IPv4): enabled
    Large send offload(IPv4) v2: disabled
    Large send offload(IPv6): enabled
    Network address: not present
Priority & VLAN: Priority and VLAN enabled
    Receive buffers: 512
    Receive side scaling: enabled
    Shutdown Wake-On-Lan: enabled
    Speed & duplex: auto negotiation
TCP checksum offload (IPv4): Rx & Tx enabled
TCP checksum offload (IPv6): Rx & Tx enabled
    Transmit buffers: 128
UDP checksum offload (IPv4): Rx & Tx enabled
UDP checksum offload (IPv6): Rx & Tx enabled
    Wake on magic packet: enabled
    Wake on pattern match: enabled
WOL & shutdown link speed: 10 Mbps first

As you can see WOL is pretty much enabled here. But anyone notice any values that should be changed to something else to make it WOL from a complety off state?

I'm going to dive into the BIOS to see if I can find any other options.

    Stay tuned.

Any ideas people?..been searching online but can't find a proper answer.
It's always enable it in windows but mine is already enabled. BIOS doesn't give me anything either. Maybe a upgrade? But can't find the bios list for my MSI anywhere..anyone have a link for it?
