Barebone does not says which one is 1 or 2 or 3. It has two black and one grey. Please help me so that i can make it work.

For two lead systems, I usually go with a 5100 (2x2) versus 5300 (3x3). You might want to pick up an additional antennae lead, which some 5300 kits come with via eBay or you can buy them separately .

    Thank You for your reply.

I already have three wires. One is Grey and Two Black wires. Is there any way i can use those three in Intel 5300. I already bought this card so i want to use it if i can.

If there is no way to use three than if i use just two connector of 5300 card with two wires, would it work ?

Could you get the wireless card to work?
I bought an IntelĀ® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG with only 2 connectors and it is not detected. I'm not sure if I connected the black wire correctly since I have 2 black wires. Are they the same?
    Thanks!

Of the 3 wires, 2 (a black and a gray) are longer than the third. The third is intended as the attena for the TV tuner card. I have the other 2 plugged into my 3945ABG but the hardware's not making it visible to the OS. With installing the camera, I had to press the hardware button next to the power button to make it visible to the OS but doing the same for the wireless lights up the wireless LED next to the power LED but my OS still isn't finding it. I'll post an answer if I figure this out.

Look closely for a very small number 1, 2, or 3 on each wire.

Has anyone gotten the 3945abg to work? I purchased one and installed it in my ms-171f before reading this and mine is not detected in xp . . . Have tried installing and reinstalling . .. even tried installing it into the pci-e TV socket right next to the WLAN socket in case they were mislabelled . . . no luck.

Speaking of the TV socket, does anyone know of an affordable TV card that will work with this system?

These barebone systems don't come with a wireless card? I thought they just needed cpu, memory and hdd.

So, can anyone tell me which wireless cards will work on this system?
I am building a MS-171F for a friend of mine, and I installed and Intel3945abg card, which I already had, but it is not working. I am going to install an Intel 5300 card out of my own MS-1722 and see if that works, but just wanted to see if anyone else has had much luck yet.
