Hello all, I recently brought a MS-1022 barebone laptop. I install the CPU, hard-drive, Intel wireless pci card, dvd-rw and 512 ram. When I turn on the laptop it seems to power up okay, however the screen does not turn on.

If the components I installed are incompatible with the laptop (ie.ram), would that make my screen not turn on?

Also when I brought the laptop I did not get a MSI badge for the back of the screen, does anyone know where I can buy one.

Yes this would cause a blank screen..............

Check here and make sure your jumpers are set correctly based on the processor you installed:

If these settings are correct then the memory is not compatible, what brand/speed have you installed?
