    Hello,
I Own an MSI MS-1012 (S260) notebook PC. I bought it 3 weeks ago. I noticed that its memory bandwidth using 3 benchmark test result is low. Average speed for PM1.6-400 with 512DDR333 is about 2500MB/s Sisoft Sandra and PC Wizard tests. MSI MS-1012 performs only at 1350MS/s, just over half the other systems performance. This is why it is slow in gaming and even on windows. According to Sisoft sandra, memory is only DDR250.
Is this normal? DDR333 running at only DDR250. 83Mhz wasted? How can I maximize this speed?

    Hello,

Does any one here know about the dip switches of MS-1012 (S260)?
I know 1 is for FSB (to switch between dothan 400 and 533). The other one with fewer switches (only 2), does any one know about it? I was wondering if it is for memory divider, to switch between DDR333 (166) and DDR266 (133). Please help.

    Thanks
