I've searched and searched in vain. I've gotten just about everything working on this laptop under Linux. I haven't played with the Camera or Memory Card Reader yet. Sound seems to be my main stumbling problem. The driver recognizes it, the sound system is a combination of the Nvidia MCP51 chipset and the Realtek 883 chipset. the ALSA driver recognizes this but no matter what I throw at it I can't get it to make a noise. Tried volume settings, feeding model info into the snd_hda_intel module. I've tried Ubuntu, OpenSuSE, Sabayon (gentoo based) nothing seems to work. I've used every trick I could find and NOTHING. Anyone out there have any luck with this or is it just a "wait for next version" thing?
