I noticed in the communications port they have a 802.11 b/g or the 802.11 a/b/g. Does it make a big difference which one you choose?

well depends if u will ever connect to a 802.11a network. it's not popular here in Canada at all. if u do come across such a network, use it. .11a apparently transmits data more efficiently than .11g.

Just stick with the b/g network. It will cover like 99.9% of all wireless networks anyone will ever run into. I have never seen an 802.11a network ever.

Wireless A is so much faster than G.

Wireless A trasnfers data at 108 mbps
Wireless G trasnfers data at 54 mbps
Wireless B trasnfers data at 11 mbps

I am not sure but isnt wireless "A" the new Wi-MAX technology?
