    Hey Guys!!

I really want to buy an Msi Laptop but I cant seem to pick which one I like better :( Please help!!!!! I really like the keyboard on the gx780 but the video card on the g683 is better, but I would like the i7 vs the i5 or do you guys think its a huge difference or should I save the few dollars and go with the better video card? Unfortunately I am on a budget which kind of stinks but would like to get the best I can!!

I'd say go with the GT683, thats a great price and GTX 560M is quite a step up from the GT 555M. Also you can wait until Ivy Bridge came out and bought old 2630, 2760, 2860,etc for cheap or upgrade now since some of them already dropped down under $200

The 555m is actually still a pretty good card (take a look at some benchmarks here), but Dragon is correct that the 560m will be a significant step up. The GPU cannot be changed on these units, whereas the processor can, so from a pure performance perspective the GT683 is the way to go. If the GPU on the 780 is going to be okay for you based on those benchmarks, then it seems you like a few more of the features on that machine.

If you can muster up the funds for the better video card, I would suggest that. It's harder to upgrade GPUs, as they typically need a custom cooling block to which ever laptop you're using. Even better, go for the gt683dx and you'll get the gtx 570m!
