    Hey people,

I realy hope that you can give some advice as i am a bit confused/lost about my new laptop

When i run 3dmark06 with my old desktop pc i get about 8199 points
    ( Duel core E5200, 2GB DDR2, Nvidia 9600GT 1GB )

When i run it on my new laptop that i have since 2 days i do not even make the 7k... :(
Was expecting to see something between 10k/11k...

Anyone any idea how this is possible?
Running on windows 7 x64 as it was installed
    Core i5
    4GB DDR3
    5870 1GB DDR5

Is there somethin i am missing? because all the specs are better then my desktop pc...
And as far as i can tell, all the drivers are up to date.

Also firefox seems to be running slower with small browser games like social city when i maximize the screen.

    With regards,

    Jim

Maybe its in power saver, put it in high performance by clicking on bottom right battery icon and expanding the settings :).

To be honest, the problem kinda solved itself altho i do not know how.
Did 3dmark06 and ended up with 11006 points.

But now i find a different problem that i am not able to solve!

When playing flashgames in fullscreen it is going very choppy
Also when watching something via the browser ( FF or IE ) in fullscreen, it is also choppy and the sound is out of sync with the video.

Tried to change the hardware acceleration but it seems win 7 does not allow me to change that.

    Any ideas?

It probably just decided it'l clock up (Although ballanced powerplan is a mix, just make sure its on high performance), Try reinstall flash, it won't be hardware acceleration,

Oh and get some Non msi 5870 drivers, that'l solve alot of issues.
