    I was searching for a MSI GX600 in Europe and on a site on France i have found this:

    Is this the new look of the mentioned laptop or is just a filler image for the site?

    No, it isn't the barebones, the barebones doesn't have any trim access, the shiney speaker grills, the metalic surfaces, or the touch panel above the keyboard. I have to say I like the looks of this more :)

    Who can say if it's what will come to the states though.

    looks like someone photo shopped the red out. not hard to do. not to mention the older touch panel near the screen.

    Actually its a form of barebone, but 1722,

    This is the exact same look at the advent without the touch pannel.

    At least in Europe MSI sometime sells G series notebooks with that silver color instead of red. They maybe think we're not so cool to have the red stripe :D

    I know it because it's not the first i've seen. In fact, my GX623 is silver & black (you can see it here: http://foro.noticias3d.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=3079542&postcount=9). I've seen others too.
