I just noticed this, i dont know how long this have been, may be its because i flashed the bios few weeks ago.

but today i wanted to talk to my bro on skype and it didnt work, the touch panel button is working, but nothing happens with the camera, and the small light on the left side of the camera is not working too.

the skype say that there is no camera installed.

and when i went to msi site to find camera driver, there was no driver, it said this:

    now what should i do.

After the webcam button on the touch-panel is turned on, does the webcam appear in Device Manager under Imaging Devices?

Open up the device manager, show hidden devices and if your webcam is detected by the OS but not installed, it should have a yellow caution sign next to it. If your webcam isn't in that list, well, it's likely to be a hardware failure of some sort.

Must be a loose cable for the webcam or just a bad webcam.

Anyways integrated webcams never match the quality of external(USB) webcams anyways, there is too much of what you can call....uhum.... LAG !!!

but i dont want to carry and extra webacm, its too much of annyonce.

But i had a though, its has been broken since after i updated the CAM+WF and Bios and VBios.

Could it be that all those bios updates has broken it or damaged some setting.

For people who might have this problem in future.

Ok i found the solution, i looked to Device manager again, but instead of imaging devices, i looked else were.

In the Unknown devices, i clicked to update or solve the driver and the windows autometically updated the unknown USB device, the next thing i know, there is a an imaging devices with camera in it, started the camera software and its working.
