I want to know wich of these notebooks will perform better in crysis?
because I was thinking about the GX710 with the 17inch display but the problem was with the HD2600 512 vram that comes with DDR2 that will defenetly weaker than the 8600 GT 512 with DDR3 vram and the other problem was with the processor but that was nothing if I upgrade the CPU to tl-66

so after that I think about the GX600E the one with the flames @ RK priced at 1599$ and the G1s tha I have seen in this review HERE

the pricing of the G1s was 1699$ at Jr.com

    sorry for my bad english.

I'm in the same situation. I'm going to end up getting the GX600. Reason? Is because of the size. The gx600 is much smaller than the G1S. In fact most of the 15.4" notebooks are huge imo. If speed is what you are looking for and you dont mind the extra size I'd go with the Asus. The Gx600 does make up for its lack of speed when compared with the G1S by offering a smaller package imo. I wanted a gaming machine that's truly portable. The GX600 seems to fit the bill quite well.

Why don't you consider the GX700 instead of the GX710? The GX700 offers the same video card as the GX600 and has a faster processor (2.2ghz)

    Have fun

first time I thought the GX710 has the HD2600 with GDDR3 but after serch I found that the VGA coming with DDR2 that is slower than the DDR3 and less overclock ability, so I though that the GX600 equiped with a DDR3 video card but its the same proble DDR2 with 512 of Mem so I am still a little confused but near to the G1s by now
