Hi guys i'm having a hard time choosing between the 2... i want to get gx600 but i don't know which one will i get, the msi gx600 performace (with turbo button) or msi gx600 neo (w/o the turbo button)... both of them has the same specs but one has turbo button w/c overclocks while using it or the other one w/c i can just overclock in bios. I want to use it in gaming... but i'm not that hardcore gamer. I'm just affraid that the later may not be as stable as the first one because it does not have any overclock button... really need your advise

I have the model with the Turbo button, and yes it is kind of just novelty, but it is nice to be able to overclock the CPU 20% at a moments notice just by pushing a button. Currently I have a T7300 at stock it is 2.0Ghz, with turbo it is at 2.4Ghz. I tried an Intel X9000 processor and the laptop did not recognize it, I have have access to a X7800 2.6Ghz which will come soon. I am hoping that will overclock to 3.12Ghz  I will let everyone know how it goes. God Bless :)

The Turbo button is pretty much a novelty, but I wouldn't complain about a fast 20% overclock, especially in a notebook.

I am *guessing* that they have the same heatsink and bios, but there is no gaurantee.

Or, you could get the TurboBook and OC it under warranty....
