I have I a 2 year old GX 700 and when I tried to upgrade to Win 7 everthing worked EXCEPT my mouse and my touchpad! I tried a USB mouse as well as a wireless, neither worked!
Has anyone else experinced this problem and if so how did you fix it. Also has anyone updated to BIOS 1.22, were there problems?
    Thanks

Does anything show up in device manager for the touchpad, or when you connect either mouse?

Eyery thing shows good! I was told it has to do with BIOS but I don't know that for sure! I deleted and and reinstalled the drivers but that didn't help either!

Hmm, so let me get this straight: The touchpad and mice are showing in device manager as drivers installed, but nothing happens when you move the mice/touchpad?

If this is so then there may be a bios setting that may have to do with it. If not, then I would recommend updating the bios.

That is correct. They all work fine until the upgrade. I was hoping someone else had the problem and and could tell me if BIOS Ver 1.22 helped.

Just double checking in case anyone else has this problem and stumbles across this thread.

That wouldn't explain why he would have problems with the external mouse

Well it could. If the bios update fixed the touchpad and the external, thats really the only variable that it could be put down to.

Good point  sorry half asleep :).

When you plug your mice in, do you get the confirmation sound?

If so check out device manager and see if any of the HID's have been knocked off/disabled.
