    MSI GX 640 Flashing Question

    Hey, basically been lurking for 2 weeks while I've been considering to buy this laptop. The NCIX retailer in Canada just dropped the price by 100 so I've decided to buy it. I've also talked the sales associate and convinced them to flash the BIOS and vBIOS for me free of charge before handing the laptop over to me.

    One thing I've been wondering is if it will hurt to get it flashed - obviously (hopefully) the folks at NCIX would be trained techs and would not brick my system. I was just wondering what benefits and drawbacks I would get? I've read that if your computers running fine, might as well not flash it, but if the free flash couldn't hurt, I might as well go through with it.

    Any advice on this?
