Has anyone heard if MSI will be releasing a barebones version of this bad boy?

The Barebone version with the 570M will be available late September.

Hmm, I'm waiting for a 15" barebones version with a 570M (current Force 16F2 that has 560m). If the 17" isn't coming out in over a month from now, its probably the same time-frame for a 15", if ever. :(

Confirmed with MSI, there is no MS-16F2 with the 570M due to be released.

This is great news! Do you know if the barebones will feature the same steel series keyboard with leds? :D

Rahul, what's wrong with the 560m? The 16f2 with 560m is a VERY nice setup.

Well if it's like the 16F2 it might miss out on any case lighting and red highlights along with the GPU turbo and max fan speed button.

Also ofc they don't come with Wireless/Ram/CPU/HDDs/OS

I usually prefer the barebones due to their subdued features, but the steel series keyboard was apparently specially designed for the gt780. It's not a standard "MSI" keyboard that shares a bunch of models... so here's hoping they're not going to have a "no backlit" version created for the barebones. I'd be ok if it was just lit white...
