Just got the laptop, and nothing was installed on it, so I had to reinstall all the drivers etc. However my Turbo wont stay on. It flashes as if it is on for about 4-6 seconds then flashes off. I am in kuwait so I don't want ot send this back for warranty as the laptop works fine, and every other button seems to work fine.

Do you have Nvidia Overclock Tool and S-Bar installed?

I had the same problem, and that is what did it for me...installing both of these software packages.

you just answered your own question! the turbo tool requires the driver that is downloaded from MSI website not the official website..I updated the drivers and now the GPU works at 575mhz constantly

Umm yeah I am going to sound dumb as hell, but what is the difference between the MSI website and the offical website. Also where can I find my the Nvidia driver/tool? I found the afterburner but I am not sure if that is correct or not, and tried live updates but still don't think I am in the right area. Sorry I know this is probably obvious, but this is defiantly not my area of expertise.

Try clicking on the Start Button>All Programs and click on MSI NVIDIA Overclock to get it running.

Then press the P1 next to the left speaker and see if it stays lit.
