On my country i have possibility to buy the version 8RG with 8750H and GTX1080, but i also have the version 8RF with 8850H with GTX 1070...
My doublt is since the pc is only for gaming, should i decide to buy the version that comes with GTX 1080?
Thanks.

Depends really what games you play, if you want to be equipped for the newest games, thena 1080 is the way to go.

If those H CPU's are like almost all other HQ's, you have 2 free bins, maybe there are 3 or 4 free bins that you can use with XTU/TS, besides that, you are TDP limited.
300 or 400Mhz are nothing if you end CPU constrained in some game, but that will take a long, long time, or a pretty crappy console port..
Consoles are still using cpu's from the stone age, most games are made with consoles in mind, so, dont stress 2 much, go for the best GPU you can, or get the 8850H, sell the 1070, buy a 1080, best of both worlds, sad that there is no HK 8th gen laptop for sale in Portugal.Pedro69 likes this. -

But since 8750H is in some way unlocked like 8850H will be a good choice i think.

I would get the GTX1080 any day. The CPUs are very capable on their own, and the little extra speed on the higher 8850H will probably be useless because it's bound to have TDP locks. Just like all H CPUs from intel perform the same under stress as they all downclock to match TDP, but only the unlocked ones shine.

If money is no objective. Go for the 1080, as stated above any games will be GPU dependent not CPU. So better choice if gaming laptop that will last a while.
