    MSI GT740 recovery disk

    hi, anyone got a recovery disk for gt740.
    my son accidently deleted the contents of the recovery partition and now i cannot return the laptop to factory settings if i need to use the waranty.
    can anyone burn the disk and send it to me. wiil pay

    Warranty only affects hardware as far as i know so you don't need to worry . is msi's burn recovery thing still installed ?

    hi, thanks for reply.

    yes burn recovery is stil instaled, but wont do nothing :
    when i start it , a window is sayng " prepare files, please wait" and stays like that few hours so i have to stop it via task manager

    There's nothing else you can do i think .. and even if someone sends you the disk i don't think it will work , coz of OEM , i could be wrong though

    If you using w7 you can create a system image of the actual state of your HDD , is there a reason why you want to go back to factory settings ?

    Gt740 ships with windows 7 does it not? Just use the recovery tools on windows 7 to make a backup system image.
