    MSI GT740 1727 upgraded video to Nvidia GTX 260M - won't work on battery !!!

    A few days ago I changed the factory GTS 250 with GTX 260 - after that laptop stops boot on battery- it's booting , but no video on the screen. I have a 9 cell battery, on power pluged in it - working - on battery - NO ! Is it on power consumtion of new Video card ?

    The GTX draws nearly twice as much power than the original GTS. But it can't be the problem. Maybe this is something BIOS related issue.

    Have you double checked that the vbios low power profile is not too high?

    Yes, I'm 100% sure that something is wrong with the vbios low profile is wrong, but when I save the vbios and open it with NiBiTor I can't find this low profile. Maybe bootprofile must be change, or...help please ?

    I tryed a lot of BIOS-es - no one starts on battery- even worse, I have to flash "on blind" because a lot of BIOS foles are just called for 260 GTX , but it's not working with this video card... :-( Someone can help me ?
