I switched over to iGPU (mux switch) in order to get a little more battery life. After restart got normal boot and i had to install the hd 530 driver (6820hk). But when i switched back to dGPU, after restart, i got a black screen. Multiple restarts later - same thing. Had to clear cmos in order to get it working again.

    BIOS E17A1IMS.10E
    EC 17A1EMS1.107

    Any ideas?

Update to the latest Bios to see if it fixes that bug.
If it doesn't, unlock the Bios menus, go to System Agent and PEG port and set "Root Port 1" to enabled instead of "Auto."
The "Auto" setting is the cause of this bug.

You can manually switch to the iGPU again if SCM is installed by pressing the "GPU" switch button and pressing alt tab, tab, spacebar, which will reboot, and then go into Bios and try loading Bios defaults.

Or you can press the power button for 50 seconds to force a full CMOS clear.

Or just do the PEG port fix to fix this permanently.

    That did it thank you!
In PEG Port Configuration menu i have peg 0:1:0, peg 0:1:1 and peg 0:1:2.
<Enable ROOT PORT> set to enabled since it was on auto like you said (only on peg 0:1:0 the rest are still auto) and that did it all ok now.
I already had the latest bios.
What a strange bug to have on an high end machine...
