I am moments away from pulling the trigger on this laptop, but am wondering if anyone has insight into the sli 1070 option vs a single 1080. Having to plug into two outlets would be slightly annoying, but I am not super mobile with my laptops anyways. I just want the ability to work in my office, on the couch (with a lap stand), or elsewhere. I understand that games typically take a little while to work out the kinks with sli, which is fine with me. Any input for this laptop in particular?

If I were you, I'd go single 1080. The cooling system keeps the temperature under control.

Single 1080 over 1070 SLI period

SLI is only good for benchmarks but games recently don't have good support for SLI and you will have better experience with a single 1080 due to the fact that you won't get Microstuttering and 1 power adapter is better than having to carry 2
