In my opinion, it is overpriced for what you get. I hope if this is sold in the U.S, the price is lower. If this model is $1999 with its Turion X2 and HD3870, then the GT725 would be even pricier with its Centrino 2 and HD4850. :(

That's just not worth it. I'd rather spend $1,734.75 CND for the ASUS G50VT-X2 and get a P8600 + GF9800M GS from newegg.ca than on somthing which is along the lines of a performance notebook rather than high-end.

You guys, this is the 3850.

The 9800m GS would totally beat this.

Yeah Canadian prices are really overinflated sadly. I mean, the x305 with a 9700M GTS is like 2000$ here lol :p

the problem i have with this notebook is not the price(i know this is canadian pricing,eh?) but its the fact that this notebook costs this much and is only utilizing an AMD processor i think thats where this fails. AMD is fine but not for 2 grand

Well it's not as if Gaming really requires that much processing power(in general), but yeah, higher end notebooks tend to carry Intel CPUs because they are more efficient. It's also a shame that it "only" has a 3870 in it for that price.
