    Hi all,

I have a MSI GT725 laptop. This model doesn't come with a TV tuner however the casing is exactly the same as the MSI GX720 which does come with a TV tuner. There is even provision for the aerial attachment on the side of the casing. I have two questions.

Firstly, is it possible to purchase a MSI TV tuner card and install it to my GT725?

Secondly, I understand if this is possible it will involve removing the back plate to the laptop thus voiding the warrantly of the laptop. Will a MSI dealer be able to do this without voiding the warranty?

    Thanks in advance.

I think you can get a mini pcie tv tuner however yes, removing the plate voids the warrenty, you could do it legal way and pay £15-30 in store for upgrade.

    Hope this help :)

    Thanks for the reply.

Does anyone know the brand and model of the tuner card in the MSI GX720 laptop?
