Hey guys I thinking about one of these laptops to purchase. both same price $1999.00 on HIDevolution. the GT72 is not the dominator pro as it out of my price range. BOth seem to have same RAM (16gb) and NVidia graphics card (870m 6gb GDDR5 or 3) but GT72 has MSI Specified 128GB M.2 SATA3 6Gb/s SSD + 1TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive and the GS70 stealth pro has 256GB Dual SSD "Super RAID" (2 x MSI Specified SATA3 6Gb/s 128GB mSATA SSD) + 1TB 7200 RPM.
ANy have experience with any of these laptops. Im not a hardcore gamer just occasional gaming for 2-3 hours. Mostly browsing, photo editing programs.
    Any advice will help

GT72, great performance, bulky and some consider it ugly. Pretty decent cooling and very accessible for maintenance/upgrade.
GS70 Stealth pro, great performance, ultra-slim and light. Horrible cooling and next-to no access for maintenance/upgrade.

    Pick your poison.

I would go with the GT72 if you are ok with having a larger heavier computer. I had the GS70 Stealth Pro for a weekend and returned it due to temperatures of the CPU/GPU and how hot the body got after gaming for a short period of time. The other thing that really bothered me was the space bar had a stuck key clicking sound and feel. I ended up returning it and purchased a GT70 2PC instead. While I love the idea of having a thin and light laptop that is capable of gaming I just could not bring myself to look past those issues. You might not want to overlook the GT70 as you might be able to pick something up for a bargin possibly getting your self into a GTX 880m for the same money as those two with the 870m. The GT72 is definitely a more modern and higher quality looking laptop, but I really do love my GT70. Plus with the GT70 you get a better screen and a stronger processor.

Thanks guys definitely ill definitely look more into the gt70. Yeah bulky Ness not a issue for me as long it doesn't get hot while playing or browsing. More leaning into the GT series. Thanks again

Dont count the GT70 out either as they come with better CPU's then the GT72 which can help you more with photo editing.
