Hi folks,
It seems my laptop died.
As of now the power supply (I am using a dell 330W) doesn't do anything, the LED on the end actually turns off when I plug it in.
I tried with my Clevo W860CU power supply (but it is sold now) and it actually beeped when I plugged it in.
Using my magical google detective skills I, hopefully, narrowed it down to it is the mobo that simply fried. Nothing works, even with the battery out. The 16GB of Vengeance RAM works fine, I cannot test the GPU or CPU as I don't have any machines to test it with.
I still have an unlocked ES 3720QM and a 680M OV/OC inside.
Should I test it more or sell it for parts? Have any of you experienced anything similar?
Thanks in advance folks!

hacktrix2006 Hold My Vodka, I going to kill my GPU
Remove the GPU to see if that will sort the issue with the Psu LED, if it does then replace the GPU, if it doesn't check the Bram's to see if they have gone if so then only a main board replacement will solve the issue.
When the LED on Psu goes out it's normally because of a short. It was like this with my MS16F2 (GT683/GT685) laptop when the GPU died.
Hope this helps

If the GPU is the culprit GT70 should start w/o it but fan running @fullspeed.

Yes if GPU is the issue the fan will spin. If its not the fan will not spin, however you do t even need to power it up just plug in PSU if LED doesn't go out it was the GPU if it still goes out is main board.

One thing to clarify, is with the adapter plugged in, does the machine show any signs of life? Any lights on the machine?

I haven't had the time to look into the problem at all as I've been swamped with my thesis, so I thought this would help me clarify.
Here's to nothing is wrong but the mobo! -

Thanks to everyone.
My 680M is dead. It was pushed hard, OV hard and ran very hot for a long period of time (thanks little brother...).
After removing the GPU the laptop managed to turn on. If anyone is interested in a MS 1762 with a broken screen hinge and no GPU, only with an unlocked 3720qm (essentially a 3920XM, even the cache matches), feel free to message me. -
