    Hi,

My laptop went in for repair last year to MSI and they replaced the mainboard. Problem is now I'm sure the GPU has fried as whenever I boot big white blobs and artifacts appear on screen, getting me nowhere. No documentation tells me what the exact replacement mobo was :(.

I want to find out the mobo so I can know what second hand replacement GPU to buy, but as I can't access windows my only hope is to find out physically via the board itself. I've tried googling but cannot find the answer as to where to look.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
