    MSI GT683DX how to disable internal microphone and use secondary?

    1) The internal microphone does not show up in the recording devices list
    2) When plugged in with a playback device, no microphones work


    laptop - msi gt683dx
    audio - the standard realtek software + msi pimping software(also standard)

    and just in case, the headset is from cresyn, lol.

    right click speaker icon in taskbar.

    left click 'recording devices'

    select the recording device you want to use and click 'make default'

    I use a PS Eye camera with FaceTrackNoIR for headtracking in flight sims and use the PS3 eyes inbuilt mic with Teamspeak using this method.
