    Hi everyone,

    I am a laptop owner as in the title with the configuration:

    CPU - i5-2430M
    RAM - 8 GB RAM (2x4 GB) PC3-10700

    I would like to replace the processor in it, for example : i7 and add RAM up to 16 GB.
    Can I ask for information about the upgrade, which processor and RAM I have to buy to make it work for me ?

    I7 - 2960xm or I7 2920xm

    you can upgrade up to 32GB however I'd say 16GB is plenty.

    Thank for your reply. What do you think about upgrade to i7 2670qm ? The cost of the i2960xm is quite large and 2670qm can be bought at half price.

    Its considerably weaker. I woduln't really bother with anything other than 2960xm or 2920xm if i were you.
