As thread says, is it possible to upgrade my 60hz 1080p g-sync monitor to maybe 120/144hz, will it still have g-sync? And also what would be the cost? Thanks in advance.

I doubt the gSync will still stay, but it's possible and yes, upgrade is possible.

Look up your model on laptopscreen.com or find a laptop that has the screen you want and check the price on there.

Ok, i found out exact model of my laptop (MSI GT62VR 7RE-246XES), I checked laptopscreen and it says that its 30 pin connector, however I cant see any available 120/144hz screens there. Only glossy/matte variant default. Any tips what should i look for?

Ok I see the same results but I also did a wide search on other models to see if I could cross match something. It looks like the UHD and 120hz screens use the 40-pin socket. I've seen 17" screens that are 120hz but not 15", is yours a 15" panel? The socket may still be 40 pins at the motherboard but the current socket on the back of your screen is 30. The web site tries to match panels with your ribbon cable connector for a drop-in replacement however if your motherboard connector is 40 pin, which majority are, you just need a 40 to 40 ribbon cable or a 30 to 40 adapter to use these screens.
