    Hey everybody.

Is it possible to change the stock LCD to a LED backlit one??
Because the stock one has very poor brightness and the colors also looks bad for me.

You can only change from CCFL to CCFL and LED Backlit to LED Backlit, so no.

Can somebody recommend a better LCD than the stock one, which has "colours" not this washed out something...?

Try to adjust the settings in the nvidia control panel, it can improve A LOT. I use my GT627 for design (thus, colors are very important for me) and I'm quite happy with the screen (after chaning the settings in the nvidia panel) :)

I tried, but still not enough for me. Going to tweak it more, but I need some reference to compare. Can you send me the settings that you use in the nV control panel?

These are my settings. Not many changes compared to the default ones, but visually makes a big difference.

It also makes a huge difference when you have the brightness to the maximum. I don't know your expectations but I work a lot with Photoshop and 3D and I can't complain about the colours.
