    Hello everybody.

Hey first off I am rather new to PC gaming but I don't think this is supposed to happen. How can I explain it. When I am playing games in this case Oblivion and Civ 4 when I scroll or otherwise move the screen sometimes (read really often) I get this like almost wave like bar that scrolls from the top of my monitor to the botton, like it refreshes the picture as the "wave" passes by it. It kinda looks like a rug would look if you picked up one side and gave it a little up down movement and sent a wave to the other side.

Its really bothersome and it happens all the time. I have both of the games running at my monitors native res 1680 / 1050 and at least in Oblivion Vsync is locked in so what gives? Is more monitor messed up? could it be my operating system is giving me troubles (win7 RC build 7100 64bit), or maybe my video drivers? I am using the very newest Nvidia drivers released for Win7 (thinking about giving Dox a try soon but not yet).

Anyways I hope you can all be of some help and I hope that what I am trying to explain makes sense. Any help in solving or better understanding this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Edit: Having watched some videos of this laptop in action from RayanMX on youtube I can say for sure these scrolling lines should be present in my gaming as I witnessed no such thing in his games. I know he has his system overclocked and is running Dox drivers but its not like Civ 4 or Oblivion should really be maxing out this computer either.

Edit 2: I changed my Nvidia settings from balanced to performance and changed a few other items and reinstalled the new drivers and now everything seems to be in working order.
