    Hello,
I wanted some help decided between the MSI GT60 Dominator-424 and the MSI GS60 Ghost Pro. The dominator will get a 250 Samsung Evo upgrade and maybe a i7-4700mq downgrade. Portability does not matter.

Gt60 for gaming performance and upgradability, gs60 for portability.

I'm with Meaker on the above choice -- The GT60 is a fantastic machine if you're looking for something that performs very well in games, retaining the user specific upgrades and it's not ALL that heavy.

The gs will go on public transport more easily for example, would be easier for lectures. The GT60 will be great for going round to friends houses and will do lectures but is a bit more awkward. The performance is a lot faster however.

All great suggestions, will probably go with GT60 for the performance capabilities and easier upgrades in the future

Fair enough, hope you enjoy it, the 1080p IPS screens are lovely.

How do the speakers compare? Both are Dynaudio but are the 2 speakers and subwoofer on the GS60 the same as the GT60/GT70?.
Looks like it uses a soldered CPU (HQ) but makes sense for a thin laptop.

The GT series has superior sound of any notebook really due to the large chambers they get.
