    MSI GT60 2oc laptop keyboard problem

    Hello everyone.
    So a week ago i spilled a tea on my new laptop. The keyboard stopped working. key mapping got completly messed up.
    I ordered a new keyboard aaaand suprise suprise the keys are still messed up.
    Does anyone have any advice on how to fix it?

    Ouch! The keyboard controller on the board is probably bad. :( Only thing you could do is have the board replaced at that point.

    Crap. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix the controller?
    External keybord works. What is also really really strange is that mainboard didnt get wet.

    Yep. Ok so here was the problem. When i installed it a first time for some reason I did not remove the battery and this was the reason for it not working apparently. I just had a thought, what if I remove the battery turn of the laptop connect the keyboard and try it again. It turns out the keyboard worked this time. Yessss. Seems like a good thing to remember if someone has problems like this in the future.
