I was just wondering what kind of drive bays come in this model? (The 970m vers)

The one I'm buying comes with a 1TB HDD but I figure if I wanted to upgrade further down the line what my options were?

    Thanks!

If it ships with an SSD as standard then you get 3x mSATA bays and a 2.5" bay along with the optical drive.

If the model comes without SSDs as standard you get another 2.5" bay instead of the 3xmSATA.

Please note my rule applies to all retail GT60 and GT70 models.

As I said, if it comes with SSDs as standard (from MSI to be clear) it has 3x MSATA bays, 1 x 2.5" and 1 x optical bay. If it comes with no SSD then it has 2x 2.5" bays and 1x optical bay.

As a side note the optical bay is SATA II, all others will be SATA III.
