I just got my new favorite thing in and have been doing some testing of it. I have tried to do as many tests as I can think of and will add them over time. So far I am in love with the 3K IPS screen and I won't go back to 1080 :) , I also have been playing some BF4 @ 3K... At stock GPU clocks and Medium settings in BF4 it looks friggin beautiful and with good frame-rates (60-90) I am doing some more testing with settings and clocks soon, but I fear I am having too much fun with it. So far in my benchmarks this thing is really proving to be a hell of a beast.

Congratulations! Don't forget to register your laptop within 30 days on MSI Notebook Official Website and supply proof of purchase (eg: invoice) to MSI to complete your registration.

This will give you 1-year ADC (Accidental Damage Coverage) during the 1st warranty year, plus changing your warranty starting from your purchase date, and an additional 3-month warranty extension.

I am going to try to use it with my HP 1440 IPS monitor - I may have to puck up another for the second DP lol. - I updated the thread with the testing results

BF4 on medium works insanely well at 3k with no OC

Yeah having 4 screens at once is fun :D, 3 above 1080p even more so.

I can't begin to decsribe how awesome it looks playing BF4 versus the TN panel in the last one I had. The Game looks amazing in 3k but what surprised me the most was the way that 1080 in BF4 looks on this panel. It took me a while to figure out that it was on 1080 after I reloaded everything (switched in 3 Crucial M500 MSATA 240GB SSDs in RAD0) so that made me feel good lol. I can play at 1080 and turn up eyecandy and be very happy with the framerates. I plan to put custom firmware on the 780m as soon as I can - likely a voltage bump as well :)

Just watch those temps and replace the thermal pads with 0.5mm ones if you intend to overclock to help temps.
