    Hello everyone ^^.

I am very excited for the release of the new GT 729, but I do have some concerns.

    --1-- Internal Layout
I've seen that the 725 had a power button that was horrible placed(on the left side) and I wonder if this has been changed for the 729.

If anyone actually HAS the 729, could they please confirm what it looks like.

The reason why I ask is because I found the 729 for Preorder on ebay.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPII.dll?ViewItem&item=290340743457#shId

If you scroll down you can see pictures and the owner says that they are pictures of EXACTLY what you will be getting.(and this guy seems to know MSI very well)

But then when you inspect the image links you get this :

    So the question is:

Does the GT 729 have the gx620 design or the 725 design?

And what do you think of the keyboard? How is it compared to a regular external keyboard. Is it easy to hit the right keys, good response, easy gameplay?

    --2-- Thermals.
For those of you who own the 725, which sports very similar parts as the 729, I am very curious about what temperature readings you are getting on the hardware components, when at Idle / Light / Heavy loads.

I've looked at the Asus G51 and Sager 8662, both which are AMAZING rigs, but there's many complaints about overheating issues, and I wonder how MSI fares in that department.

Any other experiences, nuisances or feelings you have on the laptop are also greatly appreciated.

Regarding the hardware spec, it will depend on where you want to get this GT729, since EU version and US version are somewhat different in specs. Also, Europeans already received theirs somewhere in mid August. You can always try to ask butter30 (last seen in this thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=408669&page=5 ), already posted a quick review for EU version of GT729.
As for the exterior design, unfortunately butter30 didn't post any pic, although some suggested that it has close resemblance to GT725.

I know what you mean about the confusing pictures. When you go to buy the 725, they show pictures of the 15in laptop. Dunno why. The pictures that you should take notice of are those with the 1722 chasis, same as the GT725. The most notable difference off a picture is that the 15in chasis has a red strip on the bottom of the moniter surround, whereas the 17in chasis (1722), has only a 2mm red lining around the monitor hinges.

Temps - Considering the hardware this computer sports and using only one fan, the temps are excellent. Idle/web surfing is around 50 degrees. Light load/old games is around 55/60 degrees. Heavy load/Crysis is around 80/82 degrees.

And a P series CPU is crazy cool in these. At 24% OC it doesn't get past 66 C
