So I'm not sure how to make an informed decision on this one.
Primary work going to be done on this laptop: Design work, video editing and whatever games I can run on the 1070 Max Q.
eDP = so it's not IPS but it's IPS level? What does that mean? Is this a good color accurate screen? Is this screen worth sacrificing the faster refresh rate and response time?
I believe the FHD is a TN panel with 3ms or 5ms response time but I don't play competitive games all competitive like. I play for fun but I do play them!
I do want the keyboard to be good quality. I have not seen this keyboard in person but I'm hoping with the Steelseries branding, they wouldn't put any crappy old keyboards in there.
Any help on the screen choice would be awesome!

If you need to do art work on this machine it's best to hook it up to a good external monitor. -

IPS level means it's a competing technology with similar specs, like PLS. I think in this case it's an AUO panel, so AHVA, and high sRGB color space.
Is it worth it? Maybe. If you're stuck using that display and only that display for your design work, then yes, it's definitely worth it. If you can go with an external then you don't need to worry about that so much.
