    MSI GS70 Light Indicater Is Amber when charged 100%

    while my msi gs70 is plugged in and when it reaches 100% the battery led turns amber. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it or whats causing this problem? Thank You~

    When it turns amber, is it a solid amber or blinking amber?

    The battery is defective, contact MSI for warranty service as the battery needs to be replaced.

    Yes, this is a known behavior if battery is defective, or going bad.
    When did you buy it? If it's DOA then exchange it through your reseller, or just ask MSI to take care of it.

    it actually wasn't that recently but a few months ago. :3 ill ask but would you happen to know if it will effect the rest of the laptop in any way if I just left the battery like this without replacing it?

    No it will not, but it's your right to the warranty claim.
