    Hi All,

    I just bought a GS70 with a 965M GPU. I have 3 external monitors that I want to use it with. Currently, the intel GPU is what is used to configure multiple displays but it only allows me to use 2 of the monitors. Is there a way to make the Nvidia GPU control multiple monitors instead? I had the original GS70 with the 675 GPU and the Nvidia GPU was what controlled external monitors on that one.

    Thanks for any help

    You will need to utilize the DisplayPort to get triple display to work. And since it uses Optimus technology you can't use Nvidia GPU to control the monitors.

    Can you please explain what you mean by utilizing displayport? There is a hdmi port and 2 display ports, I have a monitor plugged into all of them, but the intel controller will only let me use 2 of them at a time (plus the laptop display).

    For your second point, my old gs70 had optimus technology too and I was able to use the Nvidia GPU to control the monitors. I went back to look at my old laptop, and this is what I have in the Nvidia Control panel

    On the new one, this is what I have

    Is there any way to change that or is this a hardware thing?

    Hardware thing, the display outputs are physically wired that way.

    HDMI -> 1 monitor
    2 x DP -> 2 monitors
    Internal -> Disabled

    So you will need to disable the internal one in order to get triple display from the external outputs.

    Sorry for the noob question, but how do I disable the internal display? I have tried using Win + P. I set it to both 'extend' and 'second screen only' and I still can't get it to work.
