So the 870M seems to love throttling but it doesnt help that my GS70's fans wont stay at 100%. Normally when gaming the left fan which I'm pretty sure is the GPU fan will ramp up and then just keep randomly turning off resulting in constant framerate variation which is really annoying.

Is there any way to override the fans to get them to just max out? I'm not bothered about noise as i wear a headset while gaming.

    Hope someone can help

You can trying updating the BIOS & EC firmware to the latest version to see if issue is resolved or not.
Also, you can use Svet's tool to modify the fan profile in the EC firmware based on your needs.

I've updated the BIOS and EC firmware but it didn't seem to help. What is Svet's tool?
