Hey guys, I'm trying to find a fix to a problem I seem to be having with my GS70 laptop. I love it so far don't get me wrong and it's running everything I throw at it without much difficulty, but there are two games so far that I've had issues with that are not activating both fans: Assassin's Creed Unity and Guild Wars 2. Has anyone else been running into this problem and if so anything I can do to fix this? It's causing a huge drop in fps and I'm running at around 14 for GW2 and then 7 for ACU due to this.

I'm unsure which is why I'm asking here. If there's a way to control or fix this it'd be great.

Are you sure it is using the Nvidia GPU in those games? It sounds like Optimus is set to only use the Intel integrated for some reason.

This is my likely suspicion as even if the gpu was clocked down the fan would still need to be used.
