    Guten tag!

Has anyone done the bios unlock guide in the owners lounge sticky? If so does it provide an option to disable optimus and use only the NVidia GPU? I use Linux for work and optimus is a major pain to deal with. Still haven't gotten display out working because of it.

Yes I’ve done it. No, it doesn’t appear possible to disable Optimus.

Check your bios for these options.

You're going to have to set PEG as the primary display device.
However if Optimus is PERMANENTLY wired to the iGPU, then this will almost assuredly cause a black screen. You can try hooking up an external monitor to the HDMI port to see if you can boot with the Nvidia display adapter. Don't hold your breath.

CLEAR CMOS method (For black screens or RAM timing fails) for the Titans is power button pressed down 45 seconds then release and wait 2 minutes until you get the boot loops. I do NOT know if this also applies to the GS65 or not.
