    Hi there,
I was wondering if I can upgrade my CPU i7-6700HQ to a faster CPU? I'm looking for an Intel Processor. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can't, because your processor looks like this on the back side. Unless you are able to solder BGA then yes.

BGA is not like a desktop computer that uses LGA/PGA where you can just change out the old processor easily and painlessly. First, you will have to heat up the metal contacts/joints properly to melt the solder so you can remove it. Additionally, if you can source a better processor that you can use to upgrade which has to be BGA type, then you will have to solder it back onto the same motherboard to complete the upgrade process. The system will work presumed everything is done correctly without mistakes/damages. Finally, this modification is very noticeable therefore warranty is going to be void when there are issues.
