MSI GS60 Ghost - need assistance! Fan noise and Background Tasks

Hi All

I recently bought an MSI GS60 Ghost and am in love with it, however, I need help to do things to make it better. Coming from using Mac, I am still getting used to Windows so any help would be appreciated.

1. Fan Noise
I do understand fan noise is slightly loud on this laptop, but how could I reduce it? For balanced and power saver power plans I would like not to hear it very much, but on high performance I don't mind. For power saver I'm willing to sacrifice performance for quiet, balanced I would like moderate performance and slight noise and for high performance I want ultimate speed. What settings should I use for each?

2. Background Tasks
I have already stopped many applications from launching on startup, but there are still many background tasks I feel are unnecessary. It is an effort to have to stop them every time I use my computer, so how may I prevent them from processing in the first place?

3. Backlit Keyboard
How can I disable the backlit keyboard? Looked online but haven't been able to find how.

4. Unnecessary Programs
What pre installed programs do you find unnecessary?
