Bought MSI GS60 6QE last September/October 2016 (still on guarantee), but I started to have a problem with CPU fan on/off loop without any reason. It is further explained in these posts: #5008, #5009, #5010, #5011, #5013, #5014.
I've tried different solutions and it seems more stable now. Anyway, I want to revert to factory settings as well to see if it makes any difference, but F3 recovery doesn't work anymore (laptop came with W10 preinstalled OS). I made an ISO copy through MSI Recovery Tool, but it produced 5 ISO files (recovery_dvd.iso). As it doesn't have a DVD disc player, does anyone know how to restore to MSI W10 preinstalled OS from these ISOs?
Better still, could anyone share their MSI W7 preinstalled OS, as it's the OS that I will need to install? I could share my W10 ISOs if someone is interested as well in having them.
Thank you very much in advance!
Cheers
P.S: In addition, in case someone wants to revert to previous BIOS or EC versions, you can use these links (still within MSI database):

Check the vent and clean it up if it's dirty. What type of weather/humidity does your environment has?

I don't have the technical knowledge, neither the will to open the laptop while still on guarantee. They seem quite clean from outside... I really take care of the laptop, I'm very cautious with it (mostly using Green Shift mode even when playing to control the temperatures, fps limit to 30 as I don't need anymore; being years using crappy laptops and Pentium IV... you can guess how the change feels)
It's actually quite dry, but as I sometimes work abroad, it was for a few months in a humid weather. Anyway, the laptop is mostly used at home, I have never used it outdoors. -

Also, you can open up the back compartment to access the fan module and clean it more thoroughly without voiding your warranty, but it is entirely up to you. -
After monitoring it for days, it's happening always at a specific point: getting stock between cold temps/RPM settings right after switching the laptop on (totally cold). It's not happening when playing a game or demanding high CPU intensive activies anymore, apparently. Ventilation is working well and keeping the same temperatures as before in Green Shift mode. If there were too much dust inside, it would be struggling especially when requiring the laptop to use all its ventilation capabilities, which in this case it's actually the opposite.
Thank you for your posts, anyway! -

Honestly, after paying 1400€ for a laptop, I expect at least that they have fixed the same issues in the same models after years of development (GS60 is far from a new model), but it isn't the case. It's kind of lottery to get a fully working laptop, one with some issues or a defective one. In fact, MSI Country Support told me that I couldn't revert my EC Firmware to a previous version, when asking them to provide me my factory EC version... which ended up in a big lie, as I managed to reduce the symptoms by reverting it thanks to other users, who had included one MSI database link. Well, that's not professional but a very lazy attitude, specially towards a consumer who is willing to fix the problem by himself.
At the end, these problematic experiences ease you so much the next buy: pay a bit more for a company with more reliability. It's a shame, I'm overall very happy with the laptop, but which kind of trust can I have towards MSI Support Centre if they start lying at the drop of a hat? -

Have you tried asking Svet to give you a customized EC firmware to see if he can tune the fan settings to your liking? -
I have learned how to surpass the loop situation and get a stable laptop again, but the procedure has to be done every time that I switch on the laptop. Well, it could be worse, but it shouldn't be happening after all these years; that's my point.
For the moment, I'm looking for a factory copy of MSI GS60 6QE Windows 7 preinstalled OS, in order to test if the loop stops and CPU fan behaviour reverts to normal functioning (as when I bought the laptop). Another user shared his solution to the same problem using Dragon Center to tweak the fans/temperatures. So, in principle, I won't need Svet's assistance for now. -
