Hi, does anyone have this type of laptop
    MSI GL62M 7RDX - 1018XID

I'm planning to buy this model in a few days and this is the display spec from the vendor
    Display : 15.6" FHD, Anti-Glare (1920*1080) eDP Vivid Color 94% (I)
they claimed its using an IPS Level which has good horizontal viewing angle but its poor vertically.

My concern is whether if it uses PWM / screen flickering at low brighness.
does anyone know if it uses PWM for brigtness control? or how bad is the flickering?

I can't find any review on this model, the closest one is
    https://www.notebookcheck.net/MSI-GL62M-7RD-077-Notebook-Review.196152.0.html
and I think its a sligitly different model since it is using a TN panel.
    thanks

Yes, it does use PWM - any cheapo laptop on the market uses PWM. Though the MSI GL/GP series are very low end and I'd suggest avoiding them as a whole. Also, please, it's 2017- don't buy garbage glossy TN panels.

    it's TN?
the seller said it was IPS Level,so I thought it was the same as any other IPS.
    glad I ask here first

"IPS Level" is not "IPS". It means it's a TN with with slightly wider viewing angles but still washed out crappy colours and nowhere near the IPS 178 degree angles.

Again, MSI GL and GP are to be avoided. Give us a budget and we'll recommend something MUCH better.

Dell Inspiron 7577 if you need a 1060 MQ

Asus GL553 if you need high colour accuracy and brightness and can settle for a 1050 (Ti)
